One more goodie from EA for the Monopoly Hotels this week: in addition to the new Fairy Tale rooms, they've also dropped the price of the Platinum Dice Rolls by half.
"What is a Platinum Dice Roll?", you ask?
Well, you know how, when you start the game after having done something else for a few hours, it starts off by having you toss a pair of dice, and gives you your daily GO Bonus (200 times whatever you roll on the dice, in M$)?
The very next screen is the option to purchase gold ... right now, you can purchase 60 times your roll for $4.99 (no, that is not Monopoly dollars, but real ones).
Well, that 4.99 price is half off from last week's price of $9.99. And that is your Platinum Dice Roll.
It may not seem like much, but remember that even if you only rolled 2 ones, you'd be getting 120 gold bars for that price.
Personally, I never do buy the Platinum Dice Rolls (nor anything else that requires cash) in this game, but it's certainly one way to pick up some gold without having a long wait.
If you are looking to spend a small amount of real money to purchase a reasonable amount of gold, then this half-price sale may be your best bet.
