Yesterday's update from EA included two fall-themed rooms: what they advertise as the Leaf Blower room (a.k.a, the Rake room) and the Bicycle room.
Valuations?
Mmmm. Both are rather nice.
The Bicycle room is the cheaper of the two - in fact, at just M$100,000, it's one of the cheapest rooms that EA has introduced in weeks now! It doesn't even try to compete with the high-end rooms, but it's possibly a nice little jump up for someone in the early stages of the game, just trying to bring in some M$ without having to spend too much.
The Bicycle Room occupies 2 squares, and pays rent every 4 hours: M$2,083 and 416 XP each time, which averages out to M$260.38 and 52 XP per square per hour.
I think the next closest room with a similar hourly yield that you can purchase for M$ is the Swamp Room (an LPS room), and that one costs almost twice as much to buy.
The Rake Room also takes up 2 squares, but it only pays rent every 45 hours, a yield of M$1,312,500 and 300,000 XP each time. That works out to M$14,583.33 and 3,333.33 XP per square per hour, putting it in the same category as the Science Lab room (which costs less than half as much to build).
Still, for what it's worth, the Rake Room is a nice little room - I'd consider purchasing it.
I have to admit I am biased: I love the colours of these two new rooms. Aesthetic is so very important in a hotel, n'est-ce pas? :)
